today was a MADDDDDDD day! i woke up super early in the morning when it's the first day of march holidays cos i thought the reporting time for the pilot pen tournament for my category was 7.45am! before i left the house, i knew that i forgot smth and guess what i forgot?? it's smth dumb and stupid. i forgot... TO PUT ON MY CONTACT LENS. what the heck right! hahaha. can't believe it. my vision was super blur but yet i didn't realise. then, i rmbed that i forgot to bring socks! so crazy right. i think i'm mad today. :S (more mad things coming up!)
by the time i read jiayan's sms abt the change in reporting time cos of the walk over (as in opponents' last minute withdrawal), which is supposedly 3.15pm, i was already reaching CCAB. was quite lazy to return home cos i'll most probably be left with nothing to do. i walked all the way from whitley road to stevens road then back to whitley road cos i thought i alighted at the wrong place. it's the first time i was gg there, so can't blame me for being such a road idiot today. ((: HAHA. thankfully, i met stacey and her dad on the way and he gave me a lift into CCAB. phew. thank God for that. he was just like an angel sent by God to save me from the aimless walk. :D her dad picked auddy and deb on the way too! car poooooooool~
after all the walking and sweating and being lost between whitley road and stevens road, i still managed to reach there at an amazing time of 7.35am! i'm so efficient. hahaha. :D swarms of badminton players were there too. there were like 11 badminton courts there which is damn cool. (: met ALOT of familiar faces there. all my primary school friends. i kinda miss my primary school all of a sudden after seeing them.
me, aud and deb went to the prata shop opposite to grab a bite cos i didn't eat breakfast. it was advertised on tv before, but i felt it was only mediocre. haha. that's my opinion of course. (: ordered cheese prata and egg prata. YUMMYLICIOUS STUFFS FOR BREAKFAST. i love having pratas for breakfast only. i think i'm WEIRD! :S
left a while after that cos we didn't want to waste 6 hours of our life waiting and waiting and waiting. so aud and deb came over to my house. i had no idea that CCAB was so near my house. on the way back, i counted the number of bus stops and guess how many it was?? 5! cool man. tpy is a super duper extra hyper accessible place. :D
outta curiousity and boredom, i brought the two of them up the new 40 stories HDB flats. oh my, it's damn FREAKYYY. it's so high that your legs go wobbly! haha. (: you people should try gg up there. it's super windy too! i like that. but if i were to stay that high up, i'll most probably move out very soon. HAHA! i'll most probably suffer from heart attack having to see outta my house everyday. *faints*
the only thing that we did when they came over to my house was to PLAY MONOPOLY! it's a MAD MAD game when you play with MAD MAD people! hahaha. we got damn high in the process of playing! :D wasted like 2 hours playing nonsensical monopoly.
when we got back to CCAB after that, i had a shock of my life. the woman at the counter told me in the morning that my category need to register only at 2pm. so, at 2pm, obedient us went to ask another guy at the counter whether we could register. then he said the registration time is already over and all the absentees will be considered as WALK OVER! what the heck. me, aud, deb and jiayan freaked out. then, after mush enquiries, they said that the last 2 categories (which is mine and another one) is to be registered only at 3.15pm. i totally broke out into cold sweat can! goodness me.
we waited all the way from 3.15pm after registration till like 5.45pm for our match lah! meanwhile while waiting, i learnt how to solve the rubik's cube and did alot of mad things with my fellow MAD friends. :D HAHAHA.
when it was our match, i was super duper anxious. it didn't turn out that bad in the end. i was expecting our doubles to get trashed cos it's PLMGSS but the scores was 19-21, 20-22. haha. lost by 2 points each though. but i didn't regret! i am actually more than grateful to be given this chance to experience this. haha. (: shan't get sentimental and all.
i guess today marks to end of my badminton. through today's match, i am more passionate abt joining badminton in the future, though it can never be my ambition. HAHA. I LOVE BADMINTON! <3
